This temple is famous for facilitating the ancestor worship or Pithru Pooja. By virtue of Pitru Devatha Sri Maha Vishnu, Pitru Gana Sri Rudra and Sri Aditya having shrin here it is said to be a perfect place for performing proper Pitru Karma. And it is open for every one irrespective of any caste, creed, gender etc.
